Deer Hunting with Island Lake First Nations
1998 found Johnson’s Outfitters & Island Lake First Nations embarking on a joint relationship, of hunting white tail deer on their land, over 30,000 acres. Johnson’s provided all accommodations and meals. We also set up and maintain bait stations. Island lake provided the guides. This hunt is designed as a tower hunt over bait. We provide a minimum of three bait stations per hunter. This is a two on one hunt.

Here are a few results from the 98 season.

Jack & Doreen Summerville – Michigan
With Doreen’s buck Jack and Doreen came to Johnson’s for their 50th wedding as a gift to each other. They have hunted white tail deer every year of their marriage. Doreen did not encounter any difficulties with the equipment or towers provided by Johnson’s. The most memorable aspect of their hunt came when they both took a buck from the same stand. Jack & Doreen rebooked for 99.

God willing we will see them again November 99.

Frank Campano – Berkley Heights – New Jersey
